Part of the Insightful Path, is learning to see through the eye of an artist, to what is possible.

This brief video has visual art that I've created (painted tea-pot), written art (a brief poem), and the digital visual artistry that my wife created (this video!).

The content of the poem encourages humility in learning how to be one's best self, and is one of the essential stages on the path to insight. It is, for many, a struggle - as the safety of our comfort zones is often behind the veil of our identity as 'one who knows', yet to learn and grow, we need to give up that identity, and embark on a path that is full of unknowns.

The metaphor of a 'cup overflowing' is an old proverb, I first heard in studying Zen, and it has deeply resonated and stayed with me across the years. While easy enough to intellectually understand, it can be very difficult to travel with!
